Question?

Could it be?

Intertwining cross media from traditional to digital, whilst visually exploring Norse folk tales.

Looking at all these environments for Norse/Viking styled games, i notice that there very realistic,
I think it would be interesting to do a mix of the two, create more mythical to go with the mythology.

Some more Norse styled art, still noticing the very detailed line work, every things all intricate .

Looking up Norse folk art

Very line work heavy, with weighted lines, sketched looking. Quite monochromatic.

Idea change

So i spoke to Belinda about changing my idea.

This was due to me looking to much into the physiology and not into the art of my other ideas and felt like i was trapped and couldn't see a way out.

I then went on to explain my idea of creating art for the sake of art till the start of November so i keep being creative and coming up with ideas and to finalise and fine tune my own style.

Also i explained that i was interested in looking into Norse tales/mythology and create visuals for things that don't have and in my own style as i feel there narratives arnt well explained. I think this could be interesting in taking narratives and creating new stylised visuals.Especially on something i find interesting aswell.

My idea with this to then take the environments and creatures i create could be used on different platforms such as a game, logo, posters, cards. But with the use of intertwining different media forms such as ink, watercolour pen and then taking them onto Photoshop and manipulate them. May look intot he paper cut out style with it aswell as i think its a very in style in games and works well with traditional art looking games. I feel i could put these visuals into after effects and come out with something interesting.

For now im going to keep creating watercolours/ink tests to get my style fine tuned but also keep Norse themes into consideration. Let the art work flow and put me in the right direction.
